Old Six Mile Rd. Site Withdrawn from Consideration

Clemson Forest book available for holiday gift-giving

Book signing on Nov. 19 – 7:30 p.m. in the Thurmond Institute’s Self Auditorium. Thanks for your support of the Clemson Forest!

Well-known Greenville lawyer and nature photographer Tommy Wyche donated his time and talents to produce a beautiful coffee table book showcasing the Clemson Experimental Forest. He is nationally recognized for his achievements in conserving large sections of the Blue Ridge Mountains in the Carolinas. Tommy’s other nature photography books are The Blue Ridge Escarpment, The Blue Wall, Mosaic and Cycles of Nature. Naturalist John Garton was the guide and author for this book on the Clemson Forest.

Called Quiet Reflections, the 128-page, full-color book is scheduled for delivery in mid-November… just in time for holiday gift-giving. It also will be a wonderful gift throughout the year for University visitors, donors, alumni and friends.

A flyer about the book is attached. Sale price is $34.95, with proceeds supporting research and education programs in the Forest. Online ordering is available now. Orders of 10 or more qualify for the wholesale price of $17.50 each. Books will be shipped to you when they arrive next month.

To order: www.clemson.edu/psapublishing/ or call 656-3261 (toll-free 888-772-2665 off-campus). A book signing is planned for November 19 at 7:30 p.m. in the Thurmond Institute’s Self Auditorium. Books will be on sale there at the retail price.

Thank you for supporting the Clemson Forest.
